Q. What should I do if I have an urgent medical problem?

A. In the event of an emergency after office hours, call your doctor’s office. A physician is always on call during the hours the office is closed. Leave a message with the answering service and we will return your call as soon as possible. If you believe someone has a life-threatening problem, call 911. If you go to the Emergency Department, you should take vital information including your primary physician’s name, any medication you are presently taking, and a list of all known allergies.

A. Requests for medications or medication refills should be phoned into the office on weekdays. We ask that you do not wait until your prescription is completely gone before calling for a refill. Please allow 48 hours for the processing of your prescription request.

A. Your doctor’s office will give you the necessary forms to complete for a transfer of your medical records. You may be charged a fee for this service.
